Robert Goode Top Family Doctor Seattle, BellevueHello,

Welcome to Lake Washington Primary Care. I appreciate your considering us for your healthcare needs. I believe the doctor-patient relationship is a partnership where I work with each patient to come up with the best personalized health treatment plan together. By actively listening to my patients and allowing each person’s unique story to be told, I can treat, educate, and empower my patients to lead healthier and happier lives. As a strong believer in integrative medicine, I work with naturopathic physicians, nutritionists, massage therapists, and acupuncturists when indicated to individualize each patient’s treatment plan. Helping patients to live well and to achieve a good quality of life is my goal and what I enjoy most about being a family medicine physician.

Since moving to Seattle in 1995, I have worked in traditional primary care clinics and have been involved with several innovative ways of delivering medical care to patients. This has helped me to understand healthcare from many perspectives. During the 2000s, I was with Elliott Bay Medical Group, a concierge medical practice, serving as president for the last two years. Through its association with Carena, Inc., I delivered healthcare the old-fashioned way through 24-hour-a-day house calls. I then worked in the Swedish Medical Center Executive Health Department, serving as co-medical director. In this setting I continued to provide concierge medical care which reinforced the value we were able to bring to patients by spending more time with them. More recently I worked at The Polyclinic where I focused on delivering in-depth, comprehensive care for every patient. Under this philosophy I quickly built a substantial patient base in a couple of years. I continue to have a close working relationship with Swedish Medical Center and The Polyclinic.

Outside of medicine I have many other interests. I love home remodeling projects, hiking and snowshoeing in the Cascade Mountains, traveling and reading.

I look forward to meeting you!

parris-at-the-deskParris came to work as a medical assistant at Lake Washington Primary Care in August 2016.  Prior to working in the ENT Department at The Polyclinic the last seven years, she started her career as a medical assistant in Family Medicine.  She really enjoyed building long term relationships with the many patients she came to know quite well.  She is looking forward to building those long term relationships with patients here.  She is a wonderful addition to the clinic.  We are very happy to have her!
